| 概要 | In the early 1990’s, the Chinese government requested human resources for professionally vocational abilities by reforming it as a national strategy. And part-time professional graduate school was dem...anded being responsible for vocational education. Since 2000, expansion of graduate schools have been progressing steadily due to popularity of higher education and difficulty in obtaining positions for the undergraduates. To deal with this, the government emphasized the importance of vocational education at the graduate school level and set a goal of achieving 50% of undergraduate students enrolled in professional graduate schools by a full-time or part-time-time learning course. To achieve this target, a series of influencing policies were promoted and professional graduate schools expanded rapidly. Being a new degree, the full-time professional degree has received tremendous attention from the society. Meanwhile, the graduate schools become more diversified than before. Based on survey data collected in professional graduate universities in Jilin Province, China, this research focuses on investigating how the admission route of graduate students in professional graduate school affects their entrance motivation. This contents are mainly composed of three parts of contents as follows. Firstly, related previous research are summarized. After reviewing national policies related to postgraduate school since 1990, a nationwide promotion of the professional graduate school was clearly concluded. Secondly, survey methods and data used in this study are introduced. Based on samples collected from two types of universities (i.e. national key university universities and local universities) individual students’ opportunities of entering professional graduate school are analyzed. Finally, the relationship between the entrance pathway to the professional graduate school and its motivation is investigated.続きを見る |
