早期白話における“是”構文に関する一考察

| 概要 | 上古漢語において“是” が主に指示詞として使用され、中古時期に至ると、指示機能が衰退してコピュラとしての機能が強くなった。“是” 構文の意味変遷及び、その文法化プロセスを究明するために、本稿では、早期白話時期の『遊仙窟』と『大唐三蔵取経詩話』における“是” 構文の全体像を把握した。“是” は『遊仙窟』には37例、『大唐三蔵取経詩話』には80 例あり、全て取り上げて考察した結果、「是」をコピュラとし...て使用している頻度が非常に高いこと、及び副詞と“是”が共起関係にあること、つまり「NP，副詞+ “是” NP」という構文の出現頻度が高いということが明らかになった。 The word “Shi” was used as a demonstrative in Archaic Chinese. Its index function declined and its function as a copula became common in Ancient Chinese. To explore the syntax and grammaticalization of “Shi”, this paper explores “Shi” in Early Vernacular Chinese through databases made of the texts ‘You Xianku’ and ‘Datang Sanzang Qujing Shihua’ . There are 37 examples of “Shi” in ‘You Xianku’ and 80 examples in ‘Datang Sanzang Qujing Shihua’ . Through consideration of all the examples, it was revealed that the frequency with which “Shi” was used as a copula and that “Shi” has a high co-occurrence relationship with Adverbs.
