| 概要 | This thesis will draw on Fuyu Ifa’ s most famous work “Old Ryukyu,” specifically the essays “Okinawa’s Great Fault”, “Okinawa from the Perspective of Evolution Theory”, and “Ryukyu Disposition: The Re...leased Slave” in order to get a clearer picture of the problems he felt were facing Okinawan society. Ifa was eager to see the people of Okinawa read his writings, and that is why an analysis of these texts will help us understand what kind of message he wanted to convey to the locals. During his life, Ifa spent a great deal of time interacting with the Okinawan people, but we do not have so many sources that provide an insight into his thinking. The purpose of this thesis is to help clarify the ways of thinking that were behind Ifa’s essays.続きを見る |
