The experiments on the fast mode wave propagation are performed in a negative ion plasma. A good agreement is found between analytical and experimental results on the dispersion relation of the fast m...ode wave in the low frequency region. As exciting frequency approaches to a positive ion plasma frequency, the experimental results deviate from expected dispersion curves. This deviation is due to free-streaming effect.続きを見る
