概要 |
Steady currents induced by waves over a hump on sea bottom are studied, concered with the mass transport in water waves. Wave field over an arbitrary sea bottom is solved by the sigularity distibution... method, then the boundary value problem for steady currents is derived by boundary layer theory at the free-surface and bottom of water. Poisson equation for steady vorticity is solved numerically by the FEM (Finite Element Method). Stream function is also calculated by FEM from the solution of vorticity thus obtained. Measurements of steady velocity in a wave tank agree with numerical results. The present method is applicable to the analysis of steady currents induced by waves over the arbitrary geometry without the separation of flow.続きを見る
