概要 |
The endowment chair “Electric Energy System” started in Apri1, 1989 and finished its term of four years in March this year. It was sponsored by Kyushu Electric Power Company with the contributory amou...nt of 25 million yen a year. The staff consisted of a guest professor, Tadasu Takllma from Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry in Tokyo, and an associate guest professor, Chikahisa Honda from Faculty of Engineering, Kyushu University. The purpose of setting up the chair was to make up for the fields covered by the Department of Energy Conversion Engineering through the education and research concerning supply systems and utilization of electric energy. The followings are main research works within its four-year activities; (a) 1aser-induced discharge in the atmospheric air, (b) analysis of uniform-field forming electrodes, (c) effect of an insulating support on electric field measurement, and (d) applications of laser spectroscopy to electric power systems and plasma diagnostics.続きを見る
