| 概要 |
Ondol is a traditional heating system in Korea. It has been developed from the primary system with flues and a chimney to the modern floor heating system with a circulation pump and hot water pipes. I...n this paper, we describe the Ondol's transition and actual situation, and clarify its problems by literature and field surveys, as a basic research for development of a better modern Ondol system. 1.The primary system in which firewood is mainly used as fuel caused a serious devastation of Korean forest 2.Currently, the briquet boiler occupies the majority of Ondol’s heat source. 3.There still remains the problems what to select for the heat source and how to decide the suitable specification of floor, considering from environmental and energy viewpoints.続きを見る
