This paper describes the magnetic field analysis of surface-mounted-PM synchronous generator with stator concentrated winding, in which the novel type for rotor PM excitation is proposed. The load cha...racteristics is analyzed in detail by 2D FEM. The effects of the magnetization direction of rotor PM excitation and the reduction of the rotor core on the load characteristics are investigated. It is confirmed by simulation results that the proposed PM generator is useful for portable constant voltage generators as an isolated supply.続きを見る
