In his time, Koyo was considered to be without modern thought and to be pre-modernistic. However, in Kokoro-no-yami there is a lot of psychological description so some believe it to be slightly modern...istic. 1. His use of the "dream" 2. The relation between eyesight and hearing 3. His use of the "blind person" 4. Koyo's point of view about "love" These are the problems in this work.
