In view of the fact that the production of SHIITAKE is getting popularized and an increased production is anticipated all over the country, some concern is expressed with regard to the demand and supp...ly situation in the future. The authors conducted a survey of the SHIITAKE production management in Morozuka Village in Miyazaki Prefecture and analyzed the marketing situation mainly with the Miyazaki Prefectural Federation of Economic and Agricultural Cooperative Unions. The following problematic points are raised as the conclusion. 1. In as much as SHIITAKE production is the source of income for farmers, they ought to get rid of the spare-time working idea. 2. Establishment of production plan centering upon the scale of management. 3. Fostering of SHIITAKE mother trees and improvement of production technique. 4. Improvement of the marketing set-up and stabilization of prices. 5. Pursuit of economy and productivity. 6. Establishment of rational management planning. For an early stage of these problems, it is urged that strong measures by the administrative authorities as well as by the producers, and then the stabilization of the SHIITAKE producing farmers' economy by "SHIITAKE" would be realized.続きを見る
