Fundamental problems in the dynamics of wind waves are discussed. The problems are generation mechanism of initial wavelets, wind-induced growth of water waves and effects of wave breaking in the gene...ration of wind wave spectrum. It is shown that many important problems in the dynamics of wind waves are still remained. The present discussions also include some interesting results of our preliminary studies: the effects of surfactant on wind wave spectrum, the growth of composite waves, and nonlinear instability and evolution of breaking waves under the influence of wind.続きを見る
