This study examines different aspects of friendships between university students, especially with regard to. Friendship change, self-change, target-change, basic trust, reasons for friend selection, f...riend satisfaction, bullying, preventing friendships. and weakening of friendships . According to Otani (2007), change in friendship occurred under the following three conditions:1) target-change (choosing a friend according to their qualities; 2) self-change (two or more selves change according to the specific atmosphere); and 3) preventing friendships (especially when individuals are unrelated). The results show that people employ self-change the most during friendship and –as Thuji (2006) stated, it is natural to change the relationship with friends depending on a certain atmosphere. However, the aspect of basic trust should also be considered as a crucial factor in maintaining friendship.続きを見る
