2013年に出版された日本産ハネカクシ科総目録に関して、2014年までの情報をもとに、追加と訂正を行った。今回の追加および訂正により、日本産ハネカクシ科は400属 2,335種 41亜種となった
Shibata et al. (2013) published “Catalogue of Japanese Staphylinidae (Insecta: Coleoptera)” based on ta...xonomic information available up until the first half of 2012. In that catalogue were listed 398 genera, 2,268 species and 44 subspecies, together with Japanese names and known distributions of all species/subspecies. Shibata et al. (2014) listed correction to the catalogue. Since the publication of the catalogue, many papers concerning Japanese Staphylinidae were published. These papers included new species, new records, taxonomic changes, and corrections concerning the Japanese staphylinid fauna. This paper lists such additional data published up until the end of 2014. As a result of the additions and corrections, a total number of Japanese Staphylinidae is represented by 400 genera, 2,335 species, and 41 subspecies.続きを見る
