樹木の細根は,水やミネラルなどの栄養素を取り込む吸収根として機能している.地上部の葉や枝が落葉したり落枝したりすると,同様に地下部の細根もまた枯死したり脱落したりする.しかし地上部のシュートは,生長期ごとの伸びを積算し長さを伸ばしていくが,細根の伸びには積算はみられず,伸びの更新が繰り返されるにとどまる.この点が細根の特徴的な生長パターンの一つである.ここでは細根更新について,各研究者の考えの違い...や細根更新の表示様式の大要を述べると共に,細根更新と林分の地位および森林タイプとの関係などについて解説した.
Fine roots of the tree act as the organ for absorbance of water and minerals. Fine roots appear to undergo death and decomposition as well as the life cycle of leaves and shoots. Though growth of shoot length show integral extension, the cycles of production and turnover occur in the fine roots. This is the typical growth pattern of fine roots. Here, we discussed the differences of opinions of some researchers and the presentation of digital conversion concerning for fine roots turnover. We also discussed the relation between productivity status of stands or forest type and fine roots turnover.続きを見る
