| 概要 |
This paper reports on a September 2013 study of the modernization of Laotian traditional performing arts, especially its music. This survey was carried out as part of the research project titled "Prop...osal of sustainable contents for the creation of a local music culture from the perspective of integrating humanities and sciences." The purpose of this paper was to learn about the status of the traditional performing arts modernization in Laos, as it pertains to the proposal of contents. Laotian traditional performing arts have rarely been discussed. However, the uniqueness of Laotian performing traditional arts can be seen in its folk song Moh-Lam or its musical instrument Khaen. At the Vietiane National School of Music and Dance, and with the Dansang Youth Laotian Traditional Music Group and the South Laos Folk Song Group, we observed a movement to revive Laotian traditional performing arts as a modem theatrical culture while maintaining its uniqueness. In addition, we noted that the modernization of traditional performing arts took a transitional form in style, from d on life to a more theatrical culture style.続きを見る
