| 概要 |
After the analysis of a nationwide survey on acceptance of foreign nurses in Japan’s hospitals, chi-square tests were performed for bivariate analyses of the same data. Data obtained in each question ...were statistically analyzed by type of hospitals (i.e., specialty and type of foundation), and general attribution of the respondents (i.e., nurse and non-nurse). The results indicate that private hospitals show stronger interest in foreign nurse candidates than public hospitals (p<0.01), and general hospitals tend to show stronger interest in acceptance of foreign nurses than mental hospitals (p<0.05). Nurse respondents tend to show stronger interest in accepting foreign nurses to the Japanese hospital than non-nurse respondents (p<0.05), but it does not necessary means that Japanese nurses welcome foreign nurses in any condition. Fewer nurse respondents agreed to accept foreign nurses in order to solve the manpower shortage of nurses in Japanese hospitals than non-nurse respondents (p<0.001). Meanwhile, more nurses agreed to accept foreign nurses under the condition that foreign nurses would take care of foreign patients than non-nurse respondents (p<0.01).The outcome suggests that the respondents' view on accepting foreign nurses differ by type of hospitals and general attribution of the respondents.
本誌前掲の｢日本全国の病院における外国人看護師の受け入れに関する調査(第１報)―結果の概要｣に引き続き、本研究では、外国人看護師受け入れに関する二変量分析を行うため、カイ自乗検定を行った。病院は、設置主体(公的病院または医療法人／個人病院) および専門(一般病院または精神病院) ごとに、またその回答者は職種別(看護職または非看護職) ごとに分けられ、外国人受け入れに関する項目の回答の分布の差をみた。その結果、医療法人／個人病院は公的病院よりも(p<0.01)、外国人看護師研修生導入に関心が高く、また一般病院は精神病院よりも(p<0.05) 外国人看護師導入に関心が高い傾向があった。看護職は非看護職よりも外国人看護師導入に関心が高い傾向にあった(p<0.05) が、これは必ずしも無条件で外国人を受け入れることを意味しないようであった。すなわち、看護労働力不足問題を解決する手段として外国人看護師を導入することについては、看護職において非看護職よりも賛成する割合が低い傾向があった(p<0.001)。一方、外国人看護師を外国人患者に対する看護をするために導入することに関しては、賛成する割合が看護職において非看護職よりも高かった(p<0.01)。このように、外国人看護師受け入れに関する意見は、病院の設置主体や専門、回答者の職種によって異なることが示唆された。続きを見る
