Recently, affected by high international prices of grains, compound feed prices are rising in Japan. As a result, the business conditions of daily farmers are worsened. Japanese government has tries to support daily farmers by stabilizing the price of compound feeds, but the effect in not enough. The purpose of this paper is to simulate the effect of the subsidy for raw milk and to clarify the total cost and unit price of the subsidy. The conjectural variations model is applied for simulations. The main results are as follows. Two methods are effective to maintain dairy farmer's profit with the present level: 1) Method of subsidizing the entire raw milk. 2) Method of subsidizing only manufacturing milk. However, considering the policy cost, it is efficient to subsidize only manufacturing milk.
