シイタケ子実体の形質を左右する因子としてホタ木年次を取り上げ，年次の経過と子実体形質との関係について検討した.ホタ木年次の経過に伴って子実体形質はそれぞれ小型化し，各形質間には正の相関関係が見られた．この傾向は部分的にではなく子実体全体として見られる現象であると考えられる．さらに，栄養分添加によってこの傾向は抑えられ，ホタ木内の栄養環境と形質との関係が示唆された．
The commercial va...lue of Shiitake (Lentinus edodes (Berk) Sing.) depends largely on the shape of fruitbody (thickness and diameter of pileus, length and diameter of stipe etc.). The Shiitake with better shape (thicker and larger pileus) can be sold at a higher price. We pointed out bed-logs age as one of the factors which effect the shape. The shape of fruitbody had a tendency to become smaller as the bed-logs become older. On the other hand, this miniatuarization of shape was weakened in those bed-logs to which nutrition was added. Therefore, we assume that nutrition addition would be a useful method to prevent the deterioration of the quality of bed-logs.続きを見る
