概要 |
The purpose of this paper is to deal with the relation between new education and Nazism. Concretely I adopt the example of Schulgemeinde Wickersdorf in Germany. Schulgeminde Wickersdorf started in 193...3 and this is a transformation of Freie Schulgemeinde Wickersdorf, which was founded by Gustav Wyneken in 1906. In this paper I use the materials in German youth movement archive in Witzenhausen and consider the educational idea and activity in Schulgeminde Wickersdorf form 1933 to 1939. Schulgemeinde Wickersdorf succeedeed widely the educational idea and activity in Freie Schulgemeinde Wickersdorf. For example, artistic education and labor education was also stressed in Schulgemeinde Wickersdorf, and school dormitory was also an important element. The strict relation between pupil was the vestige of youth movement. About at the end of 1934, the paticipations by Nazis had been strengthened. For example, severe racism was taken into Schulgemeinde Wickersdorf, and the activity of Hitler Youth was carried out. And the activity in Schulgeminde Wickersdorf was interpreted in the frame of the educational idea of Nazism. Various educational activity could be linked to the criticism of over-emphasis on intellectual education, and live in school dormitory also could be linked to the idea of Volksgemeinschaft. In conclusion, Schulgeminde Wickersdorf was an interest mixture of Freie Schulgemeinde Wickersdorf and Nazism.続きを見る
