| 概要 |
This study examines the psychological process of terminal cancer patients on a palliative care unit. The “feeling chart” interview was used to show, that stage of the process don't move orderly like t...he hypothetical model. Therefore, support of the individual emotional reaction should dictate care rather than rigidly following the process model. However, the psychological process model is useful to foresee the patient's psychological state. It is also shown that the psychological process of terminal cancer patients is affected by their emotional reaction to changes of their physical condition (shock at the loss of physical functions, anxiety about deteriorating disease, and hope of reduction in the unbearable condition) and by the time to inform of cancer. This paper discusses the therapist s role in supporting the patient and examines the necessity for further study of the “feeling chart” instrument.続きを見る
