概要 |
Experiments were conducted to study basic heat transfer characteristics during the In-Rotating-Liquid Spinning Process that was used to produce rapidly solidified crystalline and amorphous wires. The ...heat transfer process was simulated by immersing a heated thin horizontal platinum wire into a pool of coolant. Pure water and salt solutions were tested as the coolant. The effects of various parameters on the heat transfer and fluid flow during the rapid quenching process were investigated. The wire temperature at the quench point and the heat flux in the high temperature region increased considerably with increasing the subcooling and salt concentration of the coolant.続きを見る
