The article reviews results of studies related to the utility of organic fluorine compounds in molecular designing of functional material which have been carried out heretofore in the division of mate...rial synthesis. Fluoro-substituents on azobenzene derivatives are highly effective to regulate the rate of thermal Z/E isomerization accompanied by their photochromic processes, mechanisms of the effect being investigated. Polyfluorinated tetraphenylboron ate-complexes are applied to regulate the tautomeric process between spiropyran and merocyanine in a hydrophobic solution phase and to construct effective electron-mediators in a similar hydrophobic phase.続きを見る
