概要 |
Our purpose was to clarify the foctors which are central to the refreshed feeling people have after exercising. The subjects were 27 middle-aged female tennis lovers. Before, during and after playing ...tennis, we measured their blood pressure, pulse rate, lactic acid and stress hormones (ACTH, B-endorphin) and had them evaluate their feelings. The total amount of movement throughout the game was also measured by use of a pedometer. We analyzed the score for feelings and other respective factors, and obtained the following results: 1. With the sport (tennis) played daily or regularly, the subjects' vital signs were at their maximum levels, as were their feelings of pleasure. This reaction presented a decreasings tendency after the end of the game. 2. During vigorous exercise, positive feelings presented a negative correlation with lactic acid levels, while they presented a positive correlation with ACTH and B-endorphin. After the game, however, these correlations were diminished. No relationship was seen between the degrees of variation in emotion and those of lactic acid or hormonal levels. 3. Although the amount of movement indicated no significant relationship to feelings, it presented a significant correlation with the secretion of lactic acid and hormones.続きを見る
