| 概要 |
The purpose of this paper is to make sure it clear what actions are considered as fathers' participation in child-rearing. I found out what actions were considered as fathers' participation in surveys..., studies, policy and magazines about child-rearing. From the result, I made a survey for fathers and mothers who bring up their little children. The following facts were made clear from the result of the survey. (1) Fathers considered the actions related to education, play and business as fathers' participation in child-rearing. Except for bathing a little child, they didn't consider the actions related to care as fathers' participation in child-rearing. (2) Mothers considered the actions related to education, play and mothers' assistance as fathers' participation in child-rearing. Except for bathing a little child, they also didn't consider the actions related to care as fathers' participation in child-rearing. According to the result of analysis, fathers and mothers didn't consider the actions related to care, which had been regarded as fathers' participation before, as fathers' participation in child-rearing. And the range of fathers' participation was wider than the one that had been considered before. Then, when we study fathers' participation in child-rearing, we have to measure the degree of fathers' participation not with the indicator of mothers' child-rearing but with the peculiar indicator of fathers' child-rearing. And there was a difference between fathers and mothers in the view of fathers' participation. The difference between fathers and mothers may make mothers' dissatisfactions with fathers.続きを見る
