概要 |
It is important to support the active learning of diabetics. This research is designed to explain the nurses' recognition about learning support for diabetics, and to examine the factors which influen...ce that recognition. The following report is based on an investigation conducted on nurses who cared for diabetics. Questionnaires were mailed to nurses and the feedback rate was 76.5%. A total of 627 questionnaires were used for this investigation. As a result, five elements of learning support were extracted from nurses' recognition by factor analysis. Three of these elements are the nurse as a facilitator, informant, and validator of the patient's experience. The other two elements are the nurses' self-evaluative and receptive attitudes. Nurses' recognition about learning support was influenced by three main factors. These are the presence of the Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) qualification, the nurses' opportunities as an educator, and the nurses' suitability as a learning supporter.続きを見る
