近年、単純なキーワード検索でなく、複数の入力欄により複雑な検索が出来る専門検索サイトが増えている。国会図書館関西館のデータベース・ナビゲーション・サービスDNaviには検索可能なデータベースが2,800 件以上登録されている。我々の研究室では、このような高度な検索サービスを統合するため、入力項目の属性を自動的に推定するシステムの開発を行なっている。本発表では、統合検索についての研究の背景と、DNa...viに登録されている検索サービスについてのフォーム解析で得られた、検索サイトの複雑化の動向について報告する。
General search engines provide a search facility to reach Web pages with a single query keyword. Besides these general search engines, there are many Web sites that provide Web interface to access their database with complex query, most of which are realized by multiple text inputs. Dnavi(Database Navigation Servise of the National Diet Library) contain a list of 2,800 such searchable databases. Metasearch engines that integrate these specialized databases are good candidates for the search engines of next generation. One of the key issues in realizing metasearch engines is to discover schema of databases behind Web interface. This paper reports on the current situation of complex query forms and possibility to infer data schema by analyzing forms of HTML.続きを見る
