概要 |
International marriage couples in Japan have drastically increased recently. Those who have married to Japanese and have resided in Japan are expected to highly adapt to the Japanese society, while Ja...panese society is expected to establish a social system in order to support them. This study was conducted to obtain data on characteristics of Filipino-Japanese international marriage couples through comparing them with those of Filipino couples in Japan. The survey result shows that Filipinos who marry to Japanese have higher level of Japanese proficiencies (p < 0.05), and obtain bigger number of emotional support (p < 0.01) and tangible support (p < 0.01) than those who marry to Filipinos. On the other hand, level of dissatisfaction of working environment (p < 0.05), leisure (p < 0.05), daily information (p < 0.05), living condition (p < 0.01) are higher in the Filipinos who marry to Japanese than their counter parts respectively. This shows that life satisfaction of Filipino migrants is indicated by some socio-economic factors aside from number of social support or life satisfaction.続きを見る
