概要 In this paper, we are investigating the long-term variations of the solar wind effects on the South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA) using Tsyganenko model T96. The main variables of the SAA discussed here, are... the latitude and the longitude (= movement) of the SAA's center, the minimum magnetic field value and the area, with respect to the altitude and the real variation of the solar wind parameters: density, three velocities components Vx, Vy and Vz, two Interplanetary Magnetic Field (IMF) components By and Bz, from year 1999 to 2015, including the temporal variation of the geodipole tilting angle. It is concluded that there is direct correlation between the solar wind ram pressure and Interplanetary Magnetic Field (IMF) on South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA). Since the majority of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) spacecrafts are obliged to pass through this harmful zone, where the magnetic field strength is minimum and hence, charged particles density is maximum, this new analysis is considered as essential for the design of satellite mission lifetime and effective shielding.続きを見る
