概要 "Tokusetsu-yoka" was a part of Japan's "Cultural work for China" (1923), resulting from the deliberations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education in 1925. That is a Speci...al Preparatory Course for Chinese students in 7 colleges under the direct control to the Ministry of Education, where they studied Japanese, English, and Mathematics. In this paper, I discussed about the idiosyncrasy and actual conditions of "Tokusetsu-yoka" with reference to Meiji College of Technology. First, I studied the development of "Tokusetsu-yoka" . To make this educational system's idiosyncrasy clear. I contrasted it with the preparatory course of "Goko-tokuyaku" (1908-1922). Second, I focused on the common problem that 7 colleges had about Chinese students' education from the record of the "Tokusetsu-yoka" chief's meeting, and studied this problem concentrating on Meiji College of Technology. But finally, the lacks of information about educational conditions in China and about the situation of foreign students lead such programmes to failure.続きを見る
