| Abstract | 「アジア主要地域および諸国」H.ジャイオ（1632～1712） 17世紀末 パリ フランスの地図製作者サンソン父子（17世紀中頃）の資料をもとに地図製作に従事したジャイオのこの地図の日本も、サンソンの地図にみられるブリエ型となっている。その日本の北の半島には、サハリン南東岸や北海道東岸から南岸の形状が描かれているが、ここにはエゾの名称はなく、それは「国の土地」とある島（エトロフ島）の東に広がり、沿岸...に「会社の土地」とある北アメリカ大陸のような陸地に（IESSO）（IECO）の名称がみられる。 小野菊雄2002（第43回中央図書館貴重文物展観図録） “Major Regions and Countries in Asia” H Jaillot (1632–1712) 17th Century-end Paris Japan in Jaillot’s map, who was engaged in mapmaking based on the materials of the mapmaker, father and son, Sansons from Paris (17th century-end), is Brier-type, as seen in the Sanson maps. The southeastern coast of Sakhalin islands or the eastern coast of Hokkaido is drawn, but the name Yezo is not here. It has spread to the east of the “land of the country,” and the Iturup island, similar to the American continent with “company land” on the coast (IESSO) (IECO), can be seen on land.show more |
