| 概要 | 「日本王国」 P．モルチェ（1724没） 年代不詳 アムステルダム オランダのモルチェのこの地図は、イタリア人イエズス会士M.マルチニ（1614～61）の「中国地図帖」（1655年）の第17図「日本王国」図を複製出版したものである。ここでは東北から関東の海岸線は、1643年に沖合を北上したオランダのフリースの報告によっており、テイセラ図にある東の実在しない島々はない。また、瀬戸内海などの海岸線は江戸...から長崎へ旅したオランダ人モンタヌスの「日本誌」（1650年頃）所収の地図と類似しており、テイセラ図よりも正確なこの地図は、その後、ヨーロッパで大きな影響を与えた。 なお、北部九州に（Facata）（Cocora）の地名がある。 小野菊雄2002（第43回中央図書館貴重文物展観図録） “Kingdom of Japan” P. Mortier (1724 Death) Date unknown Amsterdam This map of Mortier in the Netherlands is a publication of the reproduction of the map 17 “Kingdom of Japan” in “Map of China” (1655) of Italian Jesuit M. Martini (1614–61). Here, the Dutch fleet reported the coastline from Tohoku to Kanto that went north offshore in 1643, and no eastern islands have been marked in the Teixeira map. In addition, the coastline such as the Seto Inland Sea is similar to the map of the “Japanese Journal” (approximately 1650) of Montanus, a Dutch national who traveled from Edo to Nagasaki. This map was much more accurate than the Teixeira map and had a significant influence in Europe. Further, there is a place named (Facata) (Cocora) in northern Kyushu.続きを見る |
