概要 |
This paper is an attempt to solve the problem of the origin of the Old Korean 1st person plural pronoun uri. We found that although the first and second personal pronouns except for the first person p...lural pronoun could have been derived from the proto-Altaic personal pronoun system, the first person plural pronoun was a suppletive. This pronoun had very much to do with the other two identical forms with the following uses: (a) a containing or enclosing element such as a fense, enclosure; (b) relatives. Since these three uri forms are identical and their meanings are closely related to one another, they would go back to the proto-Korean form uri with the concept of 'enclosing or containing by dividing the physical space'.続きを見る
