Abstract This study intended to explore the social referencing which thought core problems for autistic spectrum disorder. 10 autistic children were examined in social referencing context. The points of analys...is are whether they search information expressed by other person and regulate their own behaviors. The findings are following. 1) 6 children showed social referencing and 4 children failed. 2) children who failed social referencing had a problem to regulate their own behavior, dififerences among them are related to abilities that understand emotion, intention by other person. For autistic spectrum disorderlt is considered that failure in social referencing derived from their problem of triadic interactive representation.show more
