| 概要 |
The purpose of this study is to provide an overview on the relationships between daughters and their fathers in Japan. The main contents are as follows: (1) The father-daughter interaction is signif...icantly important to daughters. The father-daughter relationships have great impacts to daughters from the aspect of their personal development and their fathers' affection to them, which is their psychological support. (2) In Japan fathers are tenderly affectionate for their daughters. The affection is like mothers', but it is more distant than mothers'. The affection is like “eyes watching from distance”. (3) Daughters' father-image is partly influenced by their parents' relationships and their mothers behavior to their fathers. Fathers as “Daikokubashira”(central persons in their families) make fathers' attraction for their daughters higher.
本論文では, これまでの発達心理学・臨床心理学における研究や指摘などを振り返り, 日本における父娘関係を考察するものである。主な内容は次のとおりである。(1)父娘関係は娘にとって２つの側面から重要であると考えられる。その１つは娘の人格形成の種々の側面への影響である。そしてもう１つは父親から娘への愛情面であり, それは娘にとって重要な心理的支えになると考えられる。（２）日本では父親も娘も, 父親は娘にとって「やさしい」存在であると捉えている。またそのような日本における父親の「やさしさ」を, 子ども達は「母親的やさしさ」であると感じている。けれども父親から娘への愛情は, 母親から娘への愛情よりも距離を保った, 「見守る眼」のようなものである。（3）娘の持つ父親イメージは, 彼女達の両親の夫婦関係に影響を受ける部分がある。また家庭における父親が「大黒柱」としてイメージされることが, 娘にとっての父親の魅力を高めていた。続きを見る
