Abstract |
This study is carried out by social worker who intervened in the unadaptable students in the middle school. They are divided into two groups: one is a test group, and the other is a control group. The... social worker performed the group program and compared before with after performing the program. After then, it was shown that self-esteem scores in the test group made a difference statistically, while self-esteem scores in the control group didn't. Especially the social worker who cooperated with the students, family, and school, were able to cope with the individual problems of the students by means of student consultation, parents telephone consultation, a consultation with a counseling teacher and a homeroom teacher in parallel with group consultation. Therefore, it is believed that the group program had an effect on the improvement of self-esteem.show more
