| 概要 |
“Follow-the-Greens” provides clear airport surface route guidance by selectively activating taxiway center line lights along the cleared route. However, uniformly installing dense lighting and fine-g...rained control across an entire airport may impose substantial installation, monitoring, and maintenance burdens. This study proposes a trajectory-based screening method to identify where enhanced visual guidance should be examined first, supporting selective and cost-aware planning. Surface movement trajectories are aggregated into 50 m grid cells, and five indicators—traffic volume, heading ambiguity, turning behavior, low-speed/stopping behavior, and runway exposure—are combined into an equal-weight composite visual guidance need score. The method was applied to Tokyo International Airport (RJTT) as the primary case study and Fukuoka Airport (RJFF) as a secondary application. At RJTT, 1,881 grid cells were analyzed. High-score cells were concentrated in apron-side areas, route transitions, junctions, and runway-adjacent locations, reflecting overlaps among multiple operational characteristics rather than traffic volume alone. The proposed score is a relative screening measure and does not prescribe lighting spacing, control-segment length, equipment requirements, or safety thresholds. Instead, it provides a reproducible basis for identifying where detailed operational, engineering, and cost assessments for Follow-the-Greens implementation should begin.続きを見る
