| 概要 |
Inhibitory chemical compounds (ICCs) as by-products and acidic conditions during plant biomass pretreatment were inhibited microbial fermentation. This study aimed to select and characterize the inhib...itory and acid-resistant chemical compounds of unique yeasts capable of producing xylitol. Meyerozyma guilliermondii InaCCY65 was selected as a potential candidate for bioconversion of lignocellulose to xylitol. This strain can grow in various hydrolysates in acidic pH and still produce xylitol. The optimum temperature and pH of InaCCY65 for producing xylitol are 30°C and pH 4.5. This strain was tolerating ICC and capable of detoxifying ICCs. The results will provide new technology to produce xylitol with yeast that are robust and tolerant to ICC and acidic conditions.続きを見る
