概要 |
Rice (Oryza sativa L.) ratooning produces a second rice crop from the stubbles left at the field after harvesting the main crop. The study evaluated the yield performance of ratoon rice under differen...t irrigation and ratooning techniques. Main crops were harvested at three different cutting heights and applied using three different irrigation techniques. Each treatment combination was replicated three times and was arranged following a strip plot design. Data on ratooning components, ratoon height increments, and yield components were gathered and analyzed. Results showed that 0-10 cm cutting height applied with controlled irrigation produced the highest yield of 3.05 tons/ha, the highest number of successful ratoon hills, productive ratoon tillers, and panicles per square meter. This result is statistically similar 11-20 cm cutting height with irrigation application. The lowest grain yield of .053 t/ha was observed in 0-10 cm cutting height under rainfed conditions.続きを見る
