概要 | Learning at universities is "study" to create things and objects that have never existed before. On the other hand, learning up to high school is ''study" with the goal of passing the exam. A gap betw...een them is greater than the one impressed from the same word, "study". There are many students thus end up lost because they do not know how to deal with "problems that they encounter for the first time" or "problems that have no answers". How can they discover and solve problems on their own? To do so, it is necessary to acquire the habit of thinking. With the rise of AI and other technologies, things that can be learned through memorization-based learning will likely be replaced by machines in the near future. In order for people to be able to demonstrate their identity as humans and survive even in the age of AI, it is essential to have the attitude of thinking for themselves. However, even if you say "Think about it! ". it will not be easy to think about it. One of the bases for thinking is analogy. The primary purpose of this course is to introduce the analogical thinking process followed by our predecessors, as exemplified by "Newton's apple and universal gravitation". Furthermore, the second purpose is to apply the thinking methods developed through this process to phenomena that are currently occurring around us. Using the above content, I would like to share with the students how to think to survive in modern times.続きを見る |
