Abstract The price of international Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) has suffered in Indonesia, leading to its replacement with renewable ones, such as syngas. This study focuses on the techno-economic analysis o...f the 1-megawatt updraft fixed bed gasifier using a garden waste biomass. Three syngas price scenarios are considered, and the weighted performance index ranks the scenario and performs a sensitivity analysis on the best rank. The scenario of the 40% syngas price being less than the retail non-subsidized price fits and offers attractive economic feasibility to investors, balancing consumers' purchasing ability and government subsidies.show more
