Table of Contents The relevance of the study lies in the critical role that pastoralism plays in sustaining human populations and providing environmental services, as well as its contribution to subsistence farming in some of the world's poorest regions. The purpose of the article is a complete and in-depth review of pasture farming as a land use system in Kazakhstan. The article presents the main methods of rational use of pastures, developed for use in the climate and economy of Kazakhstan. The experience of other countries confirms the importance of agrotechnical measures and the introduction of innovative means in the long term. Marketing tools will change the image of the agricultural industry in the eyes of many people and potential specialists, and government assistance with legal support and administrative accounting will help attract investment.
