To improve the efficiency of power generation by a wind fan, it is more effective to use high-speed wind. A method collecting wind to get the high-speed wind was experimentally studied. It was found t...hat static pressure of the Inside of the hollow bodies with diffuser shape became lower than that of outside. The magnitude of the static pressure difference had the maximum value near the inlet of the diffuser. Approaching wind was accelerated by the pressure difference and its speed near the inlet of the diffuser became about 1.8 times of that apart from the body. We found that the diffuser attached a ring at the rear edged was more effective to get high-speed wind. The maximum power of a wind turbine with the diffuser became 1.8-2.5 times of that without the diffuser.続きを見る
