A system for measuring partial pressure of carbon dioxide in seawater (pC02) has been developed as a part of missing-sink elucidation study. The present instrument is designed to measure the partial p...ressure of CO2 in carrier gas, which passed through a CO2 equilibrator. Applying a hydrophobic porous film to this equilibrator, we succeeded in simplifying the structure. And, it is also features that it does not require the large water pump for sample-water pumping by the design, which puts only the equilibrator undersea. As a result of various tests, the response time of this system was within 6 minutes and reproducibility was within lppm.続きを見る
