| 概要 |
Six young normotensive males who consumed about one pack of cigarettes per day were studied twlce;10:00 and 14:00. Smoking a cigarette raised blood pressure and pulse rate acutely, with a peak elevati...on ranging from 5 to 43 mmHg systolic, 3 to 26 mmHg diastolic and 4 to 32 beats/minute, and a 10- to 30- minute duration. The peak elevation of systolic blood pressure significantly correlated with the pre-smoking systolic blood pressure. The acute effect of smoking a cigarette on blood pressure and pulse rate was not circadian phase-dependent.続きを見る
