Abstract |
Computation methods of lattice constants by the least square method were developed and applied to the diffractometer powder data of a triclinic crystal. Indexing was simultaneously tried in the iterat...ive calculation. In the case of the diffractometer data corrected by an internal standard, systematic errors may be negligibly small, but there still remains an error term of K sin 2fJ in the observation equations, which has been taken into account for the calculation. Data for seven rhodonites were computed with this method using an OKITAC 5090 H Algol code. The results reveal that the a。value of rhodonite increases with increasing calcium content.show more
