Abstract |
Sr, Rb, and major elements extract10n experiment by hydrothermal solution from a powdered granite gneiss sample revealed that strontium tends to be more dissolved into lowtemerature hydrothermal solut...ion than rubidium does, and that lower strontium isotope ratios of the solution associated with major chemistry indicate much dissolution of feldspar minerals. These results give an explanation to a fact that weakly altered whole rock samples tend to yield an Rb/Sr whole rock isochron age youger than the geological estimate.show more
