｢直茂様御教訓ヶ条覚書｣の成立とその意義 : 近世武家｢家訓｣の性絡をめぐる一考察

| 概要 | This research focuses on "Naoshige Sama Gokyoukun Kazyou Oboegaki," one of "the family precepts" named after "Naoshige" who was a head of the Saga (the Nabesimas) feudal clan in the early modern times.... Also, this study focuses on the process of making this "Naoshige Sama Gokyoukun Kazyou Oboegaki" from the historical materials study's point of view. By conducting this research I have clarified one of the characteristics of "the family precepts" with the name of the head of a feudal lord. In general, "family precepts" was included in numerous materials such as, admonitions, teachings, a will, a lesson, a note, a memorandum, a wall notice, a family code of conduct. In particular, the "family precepts" of a samurai family were mainly written in the early modern times for the purpose of leaving evidence where a feudal clan (the daimyo) established his house by military exploit. Such evidence would help his descendants and a vassal to ensure the permanence and the prosperity of his house. However, as time passed, shogunate government was established and many daimyos made "the family precepts" for the vassal including the heir. Previous research has mainly focused on the contents interpretation of samurai family "family precepts" or the historical background of these precepts. However, a study on the establishment of "family precepts" from the perspectives of historical material studies has not yet been introduced. As a result of my study "Naoshige Sama Gokyoukun Kazyou Oboegaki," one of "the family precepts" I can provide three points. First, the Saga feudal lord "Naoshige" did not write this "Naoshige Sama Gokyoukun Kazyou Oboegaki" yet was edited by a vassal of intermediate rank. Second, it was composed of by compiling and collecting various documents. Third, "Naoshige Sama Gokyoukun Kazyou Oboegaki,"which contains the name of the lord, "Naoshige," was not written for a successor, but for the constitutionalists of the house, the Nabesimas. It also contains criticism towards vassals of the same high rank in the Nabesima family.続きを見る |
