| 概要 | In this paper the author presents the sinology of Mizoguchi Yūzō and addresses his contribution to sinology in Japan. The studies of Mizoguchi Yūzō broke the traditional framework of observing China a...nd showed us the proof of Criticizing the impact-response mode led by John K.Fairbank. Meanwhile, those studies are also a powerful tool to criticize and rethink sinology in Japan. Mizoguchi Yūzō's viewpoint of observing modern China is different from those formerly used. He proposed a new methodology called the "China-contered" approach, which provides a new method of observing modern China. With this new method we can reconsider modern China and even rethink the concept of modern. This is significant in the context of continualy rethinking about modern modern times today.続きを見る |
