概要	This paper aims at studying morphological and semantic characteristics of new adjectives used by young Japanese people. There are several ways to create new adjectives : shortening, extended ways of d...erivation, and changes of meaning. For example, kimoi, which means "dirty" or "oily", is a shortened form of kimochi-warui. Hadekunai, which means "not vivid", is derived from a deviant use of a negative suffix nai. The adjective oishii, which ordinarily means "delicious", has given rise to the meaning "good for you". Some of new adjectives can become a permanent part of the Japanese language, if they happen to fulfill the feeling of the people.続きを見る
