Abstract	This paper describes the basic meanings and the roles of the aspect morphemes "zai", "ne", "zhe" in sentences. 1. I have clarified what these aspect morphemes are and that they show a continuation of ...an action in Chinese. 2. I have examined whether it is necessary to separate "zhe" into "zhel" and "zhe2" according to differences in use. 3.
